About

The beasts of Blossomfall Abbey are going about their everyday lives; praying, gardening and writing. Everything seems to be going as usual, until one evening, when the Head Healer is wracked with a horrifying vision.. one of death and violence.On the other side of the island, in the distant city of Elatius, twenty offending vermin are taken to King Mortitudo to be sent to jail. However, the wicked king has a different plan for this ragtag bunch of beasts...

The Goodbeasts

There are many goodbeasts across the island, but the ones you, dear players, take control of are the (mostly) peaceful abbey goers of Blossomfall Abbey. Strong believers of Everlor, these caring creatures are willing to protect anyone weaker than themselves and make the dark world seem at least a little lighter. But despite their wishes for peace, the goodbeasts of Blossomfall are not at all softies. Being protectors of the weak means occasionally having to wield their blessed swords, with which they draw blood. You don’t want to mess with a Blossomfaller, that’s for sure - they have the power of a god on their side!

The Vermin

Though many vermin of the island live relatively undisturbed lives, the ones players can manoeuvre are treated like dirt by others, leaving many willing to turn to a life of crime just to survive. Vermin are the bane of the goodbeasts’ existence - and rightfully so! One could be a petty rat-thief, another could be a scheming raven warlord. But, like most beasts, vermin do have the capacity for empathy and a good heart - but with so many frightening foes lumbering around the corner, can you really blame goodbeasts for distrusting them?
